POSTION SUMMARY :

Responsible for supporting daily processing. Leads cross-functional team projects which include new product and process scale-up into full commercialization as well as projects dealing with continuous quality improvement across the business.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other relevant field; or >5 years experience or equivalent
    combination of education and experience.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and readily able to learn company and additional software.
  • Highly proficient and evolved problem-solving ability; able to define problems, collect data, perform FMEAs when applicable, implement
    plans, collect data and introduce and monitor metrics of the plan.
  • Highly proficient in writing reports and in presenting orally to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in statistical techniques for data analysis and performing necessary DOEs as well as advanced mathematical concepts as outlined
    in engineering and statistical training.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and reading/interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Experience with 3D printing a plus.
  • Hands-on ability to work with mechanical and electrical devices a plus.
  • Experience in electronics, sensors, or medical device production.
  • Previous experience working in an ISO certified environment.
  • US Person

Physical demands :

While performing duties of the job, occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up semi-heavy materials/equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment :

The noise level in the work environment is quiet to very loud (coating room)
